How we work
We don't claim personal welding experience. Instead, our editorial process is built on research: every article is compiled from industry standards bodies (AWS, ASME, EN), technical resources from organizations like TWI, and peer-reviewed materials science literature. When a claim in an article matters — a preheat temperature, a hardness limit, a cracking mechanism — we trace it back to a real source, and that source is listed at the bottom of the article.
This means our content is only as good as what's publicly documented and researched. Where the field disagrees or the guidance is situational (a preheat range, a carbon equivalent threshold), we say so rather than presenting a single number as universal law.
